- This RFI is intended to gather information that could assist in the development of a future procurement process. In the event that sufficient information is received, the City may, but will not be obligated to, initiate a competitive bidding opportunity.The City does not intend to enter into an agreement subsequent to this RFI, regardless that the Contract Length states 1 month and the Opportunity Amount states 1000.00. The Opportunity Amount and Contract Term are not binding on the City and participants will have no claim against the City for any difference between the Opportunity Amount or Contract Term and the value or term of any future Contract amount.The City of Edmonton (the “City”) is requesting information from interested parties for the Repurposing of the High Solids Anaerobic Digestion Facility (HSADF) asset. The purpose of issuing this Sourcing Event is to:1. determine the level of market interest;2. obtain information on potential new technologies or approaches;3. obtain recommendations that would enhance the success of a future opportunity for this project;4. obtain high level cost estimates for budget purposes. For clarity, the City is not seeking this information in order to preclude competition in any subsequent sourcing event(s) which may follow this RFI.
