Lots: KMI contactor assembled with a thermal relay in a protective shell is a complete device for controlling and protecting three-phase asynchronous electric motors with a squirrel-cage rotor. KMI is a designation for a series of contactors. • K - Contactor. • M — Small in size. • And - IEK (manufacturer, IEK Group company). Purpose: • Remote engine start by direct connection to the network. • Stopping the electric motor. • Protection against overloads of unacceptable duration. • Protection in case of loss of one of the phases. • Works in alternating current networks up to 400 V. Design The device includes: • Small-sized contactor of the KMI series. • Electrothermal relay of the RTI series. • Protective shell with cable entries (glands). • Control buttons (Start/Stop). Type shell depends on the contactor model: • KMI 10910 + KMI 23211 - plastic shell. Parameters: Thermal relay current setting range: 17 - 25 A. Rated power (AC - 3, 400V): 11 kW. Rated control voltage (AC 50 Hz): 400V. Voltage type control: Variable (AC). Rated operating current (Ie): 40A.
