- Lots: Disinfectant - The finished antiseptic product should be in the form of a clear, colorless liquid with a characteristic alcoholic odor. The active substance must contain isopropyl alcohol 50.0 ± 3.0%, propyl alcohol 20.0 ± 2.0%, alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride 0.10 ± 0.02% as well as functional additives and water. The pH should be in the range of 6.0 ± 1.0%. The product must have bactericidal, fungicidal, virucidal, tuberculocidal activity. The product must have prolonged antimicrobial effect up to 3 hours. The product must be approved for use for: hygienic treatment of the hands of medical staff, treatment of the hands of surgeons, treatment of the feet for fungal diseases, treatment of elbow bends donors, skin treatment of the surgical and injection field. The regime for disinfecting surfaces by wiping and irrigation for bacterial infections should be 0.5 minutes; for tuberculosis, viral and fungal infections 3 min. Disinfection regimen for medical devices when bacterial infection should be 1-3 minutes by wiping and irrigation; for tuberculosis, viral and fungal infections, 5-10 minutes by wiping and irrigation. The shelf life of the product should be at least 3 years.
