Notice of Contract Action (NOCA)
In accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2 this notice constitutes a notice of intent to solicit a sole source request for quote/proposal to Thales Defense & Security Inc for the purchase of Portable Navaid Receiver, Model 7020, with accessory kit.
A justification and approval will be published after award. This sole source action is needed to prevent unacceptable cost, schedule, and mission impacts if the Government were to award to a vendor other than the vendor currently executing the construction.
This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB); the Air Force does not intended to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Although "quote" and "proposal" are used in this notice of contract action, your responses will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal.
Performance of this contract will be in Chièvres Air Base, Belgium.
