(27G - length 90 mm) Main technical characteristics of a 27G spinal needle with an introducer: 27G, Pencil Point tip type, Whitacre modification, external diameter 0.40 mm, length of the working part no less than 90 mm, tip sharpening angle 29+20, internal diameter of the needle no less than 0.28 mm and no more than 0.30 mm with chemical polishing of the internal channel to ensure the rapid appearance of reverse flow of cerebrospinal fluid during puncture (the speed of passage of the test solution is not less than 22 mm/s^dd) and low resistance when introducing a local anesthetic. The distance from the tip of the needle to the side hole is 1.20mm, in order to ensure greater strength of the needle tip and prevent its deformation in case of accidental contact with bone, the length of the side hole (along the inner edges) is no more than 0.60 mm to prevent simultaneous injection of anesthetic into both the subarachnoid and epidural spaces and the development of a partial block.
