- Industry engineering firms (ACD00020): On the one hand, companies that carry out research, design and
supervision activities in the context of new construction or renovation of
railway infrastructure. On the other hand, companies that are part of a contracting company or group and that operate within therecognition category only perform design and detailing work for the realization of an integrated contract. Categories and sub-categories are distinguished within the industry, as included in the Engineering Firms Branch Section. The call for competition applies only vfor those contracts which, pursuant to Part 3 of the Public Procurement Act, must be preceded by a call for competition. For other contracts, the list of Recognized Entrepreneurs is used as a shortlist for
national procurement procedures.
