Name RABBIVAC - V Name (Latin) Pabbivacum - V Composition and release form Represents light brown color with a pink tint, a tissue suspension of physically inactivated rabbit hemorrhagic disease virus, sorbed on aluminum hydroxide. During storage, the vaccine forms a loose sediment that easily breaks down when shaking. Available in glass ampoules of 1; 2 and 5 ml or glass bottles of 1; 2; 5; 10; 20; 50; 100; 200 and 500 ml of the drug. Ampoules with the vaccine must be hermetically sealed, and the vials must be hermetically sealed with rubber stoppers and rolled in aluminum caps. Pharmacological properties Immunity is formed by 3 - 7 days after administration of the vaccine. It has no therapeutic effect. The vaccine is harmless to rabbits. Indications: Rabbit viral hemorrhagic disease (RVHD). Doses and method Application Rabbits are immunized in areas endangered and unfavorable for VGBV from 35 to 45 days of age in volumes of 1 ml of vaccine (variants) for prophylactic purposes once, intramuscularly in the back of the thigh or subcutaneously behind the shoulder blades. IN farms that are unfavorable for VGBV are revaccinated after 3 months. During the immunization process, vaccine vials must be shaken periodically.
