- Lots: steel, welding, diameter 1-1.5 mm Solid welding wire Sv-08G2S, Ø 1.2 mm (ESAB Welding wire SV-08G2S 1.2 mm, 18 kg.) is a classic copper-plated welding wire that fully meets the requirements of GOST 2246. However, the rolled material supplied under much more stringent technical conditions and careful control over the technological process of its production guarantee the consumer significantly higher welding and technological characteristics and stable mechanical properties welded metal. Wire with a diameter of 1.2 mm is approved for use for all types of bridge structures (including railways) in normal climatic conditions (operating temperature up to -40°C). Reducing the upper threshold for Mn allows the use of this wire for welding not only in pure carbon dioxide, but also in the M21 argon mixture without fear of overalloying the deposited metal with this element, and, as a consequence, maintaining the high plastic properties of the weld at subzero temperatures.
