Key requirements: GOST 3077-80 or GOST 7668-80, torsion resistance, high flexibility and quality certificate. Type: Double lay steel rope (LK-R or LK-RO). Diameter: Most often 11 mm, 12 mm or 13 mm (depending on the design of the hoist, you need to check the passport), for example 12mm with high working load. Design: 6x19+1 o.s. is often used. (organic core) or 6x36+IWRC (metal core). Properties: Availability of a quality certificate, high load capacity (the breaking force on the rope must be multiples of 3 tons, taking into account the safety factor 5-6). Length: Calculated based on the lifting height and multiplicity of the pulley (indicated in the crane passport).
